Volvo Car India today reported a growth of 52.02 per cent in retail sales to 713 units in the January-June period of 2021. The luxury automobile manufacturer had sold 469 units in the first six months of 2020. The Volvo XC60 SUV was the largest-selling model of the automaker in the first half of 2021. During the period under consideration, Volvo Car India also sold models like the XC40 SUV, XC90 SUV, S60 sedan and S90 sedan. The new Volvo S60 was launched in the country in January 2021.
