Vir Das says it was an honour to represent India after missing out on International Emmys 2021

After losing to Call My Agent at the International Emmys 2021, Vir Das took to social media to share his experience. He wrote that it was an honour to represent India at the awards ceremony.
Vir Das might have missed out on winning at the 49th edition of the International Emmy Awards but the comedian felt honoured to have represented India. Vir Das' Netflix's comedy special, Vir Das: For India lost the Best Comedy award to France's Call My Agent Season 4 at International Emmys 2021. The other nominees in this category were UK's Motherland: Christmas Special and Colombia series Promesas de Campana. I was nominated for best comedy at the International Emmy Awards, for jokes.
