Vikrant Massey confirms his wedding with Sheetal Thakur would be a private affair

Vikrant Massey and Sheetal Thakur were set to get married last year, but the wedding was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, in an exclusive chat with IndiaToday.in, the actor opened up about his wedding plans.

Vikrant Massey, who got engaged to his long-time girlfriend Sheetal Thakur in November 2019, was looking forward to tying the knot with his fiancee last year. But, the Covid-19 pandemic put a stop to all his plans. Recently, it was reported that the two registered their marriage. In an interview with IndiaToday.in, the Chhapaak actor opened up about his wedding plans with Sheetal.

Vikrant and Sheetal have been dating each other since 2015. They featured together in the first season of ALTBalaji’s web series Broken But Beautiful. After a four-year-long courtship, the couple had a private roka ceremony in the presence of close friends and family members. Reports suggested that Vikrant and Sheetal will get married once Vikrant finishes the shoot of his upcoming film, Gaslight, with Sara Ali Khan.

Speaking to IndiaToday.in about his much-talked wedding, Vikrant said, "My first love and my first priority is always my producers. This start-stop of Covid, lockdown, then partial lockdown, the night curfews, because of all this my producers have lost a lot of money. So they are my first love and my priority is to go out there and finish those commitments. Shaadi ke liye jab waqt milega tab kar lenge. Aur jab kar lenge tab aapko pata chal jayegi (When we get time to get married, we will do it. Once we are done with the wedding, you’ll find out)."

Lately, many celebrities couples opted for low-key weddings, away from the media glare. Will Vikrant do the same? The actor replied, "I am someone who is very private as a person, I have always been like that. I have never let the media into my life anyway. There isn't going to be any change in that. So I think waise hi hoga, jab hoga (Yes, it will be private when it happens).

On the work front, Vikrant Massey is looking forward to his next OTT film, Love Hostel, which also features Sanya Malhotra and Bobby Deol.
