Valimai box office collection Day 15: Ajith film begins Week 3 on a positive note

Ajith Kumar's Valimai is in its third week and still doing business at the box office. Despite new releases, Valimai retained a sizeable number of screens in Tamil Nadu.
Ajith Kumar's Valimai has entered the third week of its theatrical run and is still performing well in selected theatres across Tamil Nadu and in the international market. Despite new releases, Valimai has retained many screens in Tamil Nadu and seems to have begun the third week on a positive note. Theatre owners have preferred to screen Valimai despite new releases - Suriya's Etharkkum Thunindhavan and Prabhas's Radhe Shyam.
Ajith Kumar's Valimai hit the theatres on February 24 after a two-year-long wait. Directed by H Vinoth, the film marks the second collaboration of Ajith, Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor after Nerkonda Paarvai. The film has crossed Rs 200 crore worldwide and is still going strong.
Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan took to Twitter to share the worldwide box office collection of Valimai for two weeks. He wrote, "#Valimai WW Box Office. Week 1 - Rs 193.41 cr. Week 2 Day 1 - Rs 4.50 cr. Day 2 - Rs 4.73 cr. Day 3 - Rs 5.40 cr. Day 4 - Rs 6.12 cr. Day 5 - Rs 1.47 cr. Day 6 - Rs 1.31 cr. Day 7 - Rs 1.10 cr. Total - Rs 218.04 cr (sic)."

In Tamil Nadu, the film has collected Rs 151.69 crore by the end of two weeks. Ajith's film has entered the profit zone and has made film distributors and exhibitors happy with its performance.
