A day after Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated the COVID-19 vaccination drive for the 18-44 age group in the State, the vaccination slots for this age group remained closed in Coimbatore district on Friday. Sources in the Health Department here said that they have been awaiting instructions from the State government to allow beneficiaries of the 18-44 age group for vaccination. The reason for the delay was not clear. As of Friday, Coimbatore district had 48,000 doses of Covishield and 7,000 doses of Covaxin in stock, according to the sources.More Related News
