Minister Somanna inspects construction of new ROB in Bengaluru, aiming to improve connectivity and ease traffic congestion.

Minister of State for Railways and Jal Shakti, V. Somanna, on Friday inspected the ongoing construction of Road Over Bridge (ROB) No. 431 between Padarayanapura and Hosahalli in Bengaluru.
The new ROB, being built at a cost of ₹12 crore, will replace the old structure that has completed its codal life. The bridge, featuring a 42-metre Bow String Girder, aims to improve connectivity between Vijayanagar and Mysuru Road.
During his visit, Mr. Somanna reviewed the progress of work and directed railway officials to ensure the project is completed within the stipulated timeline, South Western Railway(SWR) stated in a release.
The minister later visited Krishnadevaraya Halt Station and Nayandahalli Station, where he interacted with commuters and took note of their concerns and suggestions. Officials stated that the ROB project is a crucial infrastructure upgrade for the area and will help ease traffic congestion once completed.
