India Today
UP government has allowed the conduction of online classes for madrasa students amid the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Uttar Pradesh's Minority Welfare, Muslim Waqf, and Haj Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, like other education boards, approved the introduction of online educational work in madrasas run under Madarsa Education Council. Now, online education will start in Madrasas' classes one to eight, classes 9 to 12, and Kamil-Fazil's classes. Until the condition gets better and physical classes in madrasas resume, regular online studies will be allowed for all students. This move has been made to ensure that students don’t miss out on their studies while staying at home during the pandemic. In view of the persistent downfall in the corona infection cases, the Minority Welfare Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi, has ordered to re-conduct online classes from class 9 to 12 and Kamil Fazil's classes in all the recognized Madrasas from Uttar Pradesh Madarsa Education Council.
