Uttar Pradesh schools under the Basic Education Council, which were closed since March 20, will reopen on July 1 for Classes 1 to 8 after 100 days of closure. However, students will not need to come to school yet, and only teachers and employees associated with Shikshamitra work will reach the school. From July 1, schools from Classes 1 to 8, run by the Basic Education Council of the Uttar Pradesh government, will reopen but students will be taught through online classes only.
