The Uttar Pradesh government has decided to postpone UP board exams 2021 for students of Classes 10 and 12 till May 20 in view of the increase in Covid-19 cases across the state. Till now, no new dates for the exams have been announced. The state government took this decision a day after the Central Board of Secondary Education decided to postpone the Class 12 board exams and cancel the Class 10 board exams for this year due to the second wave of Covid-19 in the country. Students and parents were constantly pushing for the postponement of the CBSE and state board exams across India due to the current Covid-19 situation. Many states have taken the decision to postpone the exams for the students till May end or June.
