The government of Maharashtra has decided to conduct the end-term exams in state-run universities in online mode this year due to the sudden surge of Covid-19 cases across the state, it was announced on Thursday. Maharashtra Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant, while speaking to the reporters regarding this decision, said that he also plans to request the state government to include exam-related work in the essential services category. Students also must note that the exams are only being conducted online for undergraduate courses across the 13 state-run universities in Maharashtra. No news regarding the exam conduction has been made for other courses yet.
