A Ukrainian jazz band performed on a club’s balcony after it shut down amid the war. The video has gone viral online.
It’s been almost a month since Russia invaded Ukraine. A number of cities have been destroyed due to the war between the two countries and citizens have fled to nearby border areas where they have taken shelter in refugee camps. Among the grim news that has been pouring in, a wholesome video of a Ukrainian jazz band playing their set on a club's balcony has gone viral online.
Actually, the biggest jazz club in Ukraine's Odessa performed on the balcony as it was closed due to the war. A short clip of their performance was posted on Twitter by Senior Correspondent for Global National News Jeff Semple.
In the now-viral video, the band can be seen performing on the balcony of Odessa’s “biggest jazz club”. They sang and played soothing music for the crowd that gathered around the building. While some people enjoyed the music and sipped coffees, others admired the soulful melodies from afar.
“Odessa’s biggest jazz club is closed because of the war. So they performed from its balcony,” reads the caption of the post.
