Run Lola Run star Franka Potente sent her best wishes to Taapsee Pannu for Looop Lapeta. The film is currently streaming on Netflix.
On the release day of Taapsee Pannu's film, Looop Lapeta, the actress got a shoutout from Hollywood star Franka Potente, who appeared in Run Lola Run. Looop Lapeta is the Hindi adaptation of Tom Tykwer’s cult classic. Looop Lapeta is currently streaming on Netflix.
Taapsee Pannu's Looop Lapeta garnered appreciation from many. The list also includes the name of Franka Potente, who starred in Run Lola Run. On February 4, Taapsee took to Instagram to share a video of Franka, where she can be heard saying, “Hi guys, this is Franka. I think it is so exciting that you are shooting a remake of Run Lola Run after all these years. I am honoured. I think it's really cool so I just wanted to wish you good luck. Good luck, Taapsee, you'll be amazing and I can't wait to see the film.”
Reciprocating her love for Franka, Taapsee wrote, “This makes it special looooooop number of times! Thank you, Franka! It's launch day for Looop Lapeta and here we have the OG Savi, loooped along to win our hearts (sic),” along with the video.
Taapsee wrapped up shooting for Looop Lapeta in February 2021. She had shared a photo from the sets of the film and wrote, "Another one comes to an end. Troopers who have been on the move since the lockdown lifted and going 3 movie strong since then. Hopping on to the 4th one soon with vigour to create more memories on the way (sic)."
