
Swiggy partners with TVS to deploy electric scooters for delivery

The partnership between TVS and Swiggy will focus on EVs like the TVS iQube being deployed for delivery purposes and also explore the possibility of developing new need-specific products.
TVS Motor Company and Swiggy have joined hands to explore improvements in the company’s delivery vehicles using electrified mobility solutions. The MoU signed between the two will enable TVS to provide EVs for use in Swiggy’s food and on-demand delivery operations. Development of need-specific vehicles, simpler financing and use of connected services are also part of the partnership.
“Our collaboration with Swiggy is a key step towards strengthening the electrification of mobility in food delivery and last-mile delivery services, furthering the easy adoption of EVs amongst customers. This also marks our foray into showcasing our commitment in the electric commercial mobility segment,” said Manu Saxena, Senior Vice President, Future Mobility, TVS Motor Company.
