The Supreme Court has dismissed the petitions moved by a rape survivor from Kerala and her assaulter, a defrocked priest, for marrying each other.
The Supreme Court on Monday dismissed the petition moved by a rape survivor from Kerala who sought permission to marry her assaulter, a former priest serving a prison sentence for 20 years. The apex court also rejected a separate plea of the defrocked priest who sought bail for marrying the rape survivor. The rape survivor was a minor at the time of the incident and had given birth to a child.More Related News
