
Video: Karnataka student punches invigilator after being caught cheating in exam

Assistant Professor Shivaraj Kumar was on invigilation duty when he was attacked by a student named Shahbaz after the former seized his answer sheet and asked him to leave the hall.
Things took an ugly turn during an internal examination at a homeopathic college when a student allegedly assaulted an invigilator who caught him cheating. The incident, catured on CCTV mounted inside the examination hall, shows the confrontation unfolding in full view of other students.
The incident took place at Dr Malakareddy Homeopathic College in Kalaburagi.
Sources told India Today that the student was identified as Shahbaz, from Kerala.
He was reportedly using a mobile phone during an internal exam on Homeopathic Materia Medica when he was caught.
Assistant Professor Shivaraj Kumar, who was on invigilation duty, confronted the student, seized his answer sheet and asked him to leave the hall.
The CCTV footage shows a tense exchange between the two. Moments later, the student is seen lashing out at the professor inside the classroom.

Amid preparations for an engagement and haldi ceremony in Maharashtra's Dhule district, an argument broke out between two groups over the printing of names on a wedding invitation card, during which three people were attacked with sharp weapons and killed. Three others were injured and are undergoing treatment.
