Poland’s Karolina Bielawska has been crowned Miss World 2021 and the beauty queen is still in a state of disbelief after her big win. In a new video shared on the official Instagram account of Miss World, she said she couldn’t believe that she is the new Miss World.
“I still cannot believe it! Very often, I am very talkative, but right now I am speechless. I am so grateful,” she said in the video.
Indian-American Shree Saini, who represented the United States at the pageant and won the first runner-up title, posed with Karolina in the clip and congratulated her. “I am so proud of her. Congratulations,” Saini said.
Karolina looked resplendent in a one-shoulder sequinned gown. Miss World 2019, Toni-Ann Singh from Jamaica, put the crown on her head.
“When I heard my name, I was shocked, I still can’t believe it. I am honoured to wear the Miss World crown and can’t wait to get to work. I will remember this amazing chapter in Puerto Rico for the rest of my life,” Karolina said after being crowned, according to a post shared on Miss World’s official Instagram account.
Karolina Bielawska is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Management and wishes to continue her studies with a PhD.
