SFI activist murdered in Kerala college; accused Youth Congress leader arrested

Following the murder of a Students Federation of India (SFI) activist in Kerala's Idukki, police arrested a local Youth Congress (YC) leader on Monday.

An activist of Students Federation of India (SFI), the students’ wing of CPI(M), was stabbed to death, allegedly by a Youth Congress worker, at Government Engineering College in Kerala’s Idukki on Monday.

The victim, Dheeraj Rajendran (21), was a seventh-semester student of Computer Science and Engineering at the college, police said.
