Schools will only reopen in the state after the state government will consult with the experts, says Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
With several state governments reopening their schools from February 1, the question arises about when schools will reopen in Madhya Pradesh. On this, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, has said that the state government will take the decision on reopening schools after consulting with the experts and reviewing the Covid-19 situation.
On January 14, the state government ordered the closure of schools for classes 1 to 12 till January 31 in the wake of Covid-19.
While reviewing the Covid-19 situation, the CM said that cases were coming down in the state, including major cities like Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, and Gwalior.
There is a possibility that Covid-19 cases will come down by February 15, he said.
“Very few coronavirus patients are admitted in hospitals," added the CM.
