Scarlett Johansson sues Disney for releasing Black Widow on OTT instead of theatres

Scarlett Johansson has filed a lawsuit against The Walt Disney Company for simultaneously releasing Black Widow in theatres and on Disney+. She alleged that her contract was breached.

Scarlett Johansson has been making headlines for several reasons lately. The actress is once again in the news for suing The Walt Disney Company, which owns Marvel Studios, the producer of her film, Black Widow. She has alleged that the giant media company has breached her contract by simultaneously releasing the film in theatres as well as on the OTT platform, Disney+. The Marvel film has been launched in the US and a few other countries so far.
