Actor Sara Ali Khan and social media personality Orry have reportedly fallen out following a controversial comment. The incident has sparked widespread debate on bullying and accountability on social media platforms.
What appeared to be a friendly equation between actor Sara Ali Khan and social media personality Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, seems to have soured. Orry sparked controversy after taking a dig at Sara in a social media reel, prompting strong reactions online. The comment came shortly after Sara unfollowed him on Instagram, with many users calling his behaviour “pathetic.”
On Monday, Orry shared a reel that was a spin on another creator, Amulya Rattan’s video, in which she calls out a man’s lack of civic sense for walking behind her while she was recording. However, it wasn’t the video itself but Orry’s sarcastic reply in the comments that drew widespread attention and criticism.
In the clip, Orry appeared in a blue mesh top featuring a printed, dotted outline of a bra. An Instgram user commented, “Genuine question: What exactly is that bra holding together?” Orry replied, “Sara Ali Khan’s hits,” a remark that many felt was a direct and unnecessary dig at the actor’s career.
The comment did not sit well with many, who quickly flooded social media platforms with criticism. One Reddit user wrote, “Y’all need to stop giving him attention. He’s a pick me and now a bully.” Another added, “I don’t know how he gets the audacity to bully with a face like that.”
Several users also questioned celebrities who continue to associate with Orry. “Pathetic. I literally unfollowed Janhvi too because if you’re associated with this kind of human, it shows your mentality too,” one comment read. Another user wrote, “Sara Ali Khan can be wrong in many ways, but whatever Orry is doing is next-level pathetic. Imagine a grown-up person behaving like this.”
While Sara and Orry have been friends for years, speculation about a fallout began earlier when Orry posted a reel titled “3 worst names,” listing the names Sara, Amrita and Palak without surnames. Soon after, both Sara Ali Khan and her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan unfollowed him on Instagram.
