Salman Khan meets Jain monk Acharya Vijay Hansratnasur as he completes his 180-day fast

Bollywood actor Salman Khan recently met Jain monk Acharya Vijay Hansratnasur in Mumbai. The actor also learnt various aspects of Jainism from the monk.

Bollywood star Salman Khan recently met Jain monk Acharya Vijay Hansratnasur as he completed his 180 days of fasting. The actor planned to visit Acharya Vijay Hansratnasur as they were astonished by the fact that he was fasting for 180 days for the sixth time.

Salman Khan will soon be seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. On Sunday, September 11, Acharya Vijay Hansratnasur became the only Jain monk to complete the marathon fast for the sixth time. According to the followers of the monk, Salman sought blessings from Acharya Vijay Hansratnasur and also learnt various aspects and rituals of Jainism. They also shared that many other celebrated people also visit Acharya Vijay Hansratnasuri to seek blessings.

Acharya Vijay Hansratnasur ended his 180 days of continuous fasting on Sunday, September 11, becoming the only Jain monk who has completed this marathon fasting ever. "In the past two decades of his life as a monk, Acharya Hansratnasuri has spent a total of 12 years fasting," said his followers.

A week ago, Salman Khan finally shared his first look from Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. In a video, the actor was seen riding a cruiser bike as he walked through Ladakh valley. With the mountain breeze flowing through his long hair and his trademark sunglasses on, we can't wait to find out more about his character in the film. The teaser was shared by Salman on his social media platform with a hashtag that reads, "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (sic)." His production house, Salman Khan Films too shared the same video from the film. The announcement teaser got all his fans all excited!

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is an action-packed entertainer directed by Farhad Samji and features Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, and Venkatesh in lead with a Vast Pan Indian Ensemble cast which will be announced soon.
