The troll who harassed Abhinav Shukla and his friends has been nabbed by the Patiala Police. Rubina Dilaik has now revealed that the troll was paid by someone who wants her and Abhinav to break up.

Abhinav Shukla was being harassed online by a troll for more than a year, who has now been traced by the Patiala Police. The actor expressed relief when the troll was traced. Not just him, but the troll was also threatening his family and friends. After Abhinav, Rubina Diliak opened up on online trolls and how someone, who she chose not to name, has been paying trolls so that she and Abhinav break up.

Rubina Dilaik shared a picture of the news article carrying Abhinav Shukla's interview on the arrest of the online troll who was threatening him and his friends. Along with the photo, she shared a note that read, "I often don’t pay attention to the trollers and haters ! But after a year of constant harassment and threat, we recently figured ( with the help of Police) that “these (PAID) trollers “ are a mere pawn to someone who hates us SO MUCH that he/she is constantly living in a Hell-State wanting us @ashukla09 to break apart.. I can’t Imagine What kind of destiny YOU are calling upon yourself, I just pray YOU LIVE IN PEACE (sic)."

Rubina revealed that someone had been paying trolls to threaten Abhinav and their friends, but she did not reveal the name of the person.

Speaking about the troll to ETimes, Abhinav Shukla said, "I am relieved, more for the sake of my female friends, that the troll has been traced. For the past year, he had been targeting me and tagging all my female friends, family members, and acquaintances, especially those with verified accounts. His messages were nasty, vilifying, and criminal in nature. He accused my female friends of having an affair with me, threatened to throw acid on them, and had them run over."
