Roohaniyat trailer out. Arjun Bijlani's 'forever is a lie' belief is challenged by Kanika Mann

Roohaniyat trailer was launched today, March 11. Arjun Bijlani plays Suveer, who feels 'forever is a lie' but Kanika Mann's Prisha challenges him.

Arjun Bijlani got everyone talking with his cryptic 'forever is a lie' post. But, all this was just for the promotion of his upcoming MXPlayer web series, Roohaniyat. The actor unveiled the trailer of the web show today, March 11. Set to premiere on March 23, Roohaniyat is a romantic mystery drama starring Arjun Bijlani, Kanika Mann, Aman Verma and Smita Bansal in pivotal roles.

A day ago, Arjun Bijlani had shared a cryptic post, which worried his fans and friends so much that he had to issue a clarification that it is not related to his personal life. However, now we know that it was related to his upcoming project. Arjun shared the trailer of Roohaniyat, where he is heard saying, "Forever is a lie."

Sharing the trailer, he captioned it, "Pyaar mein 'FOREVER' jaisa kuch hota hai ki nai? #Roohaniyat, releasing 23rd March only on @mxplayer (sic)."

In the video, it can be seen that Arjun is in love with Yuvika Chaudhary. However, his belief in love is shattered after losing her. Later, Kanika Mann comes in his life challenges his belief. While, Arjun plays Suveer, a 40-year-old businessman, Kanika is Prisha, a 19-year-old young girl, who believes in love.

The trailer captures the theme of “Is Forever Love A Lie”. The official synopsis of the series reads, "While navigating the path of true love, Prisha meets Saveer and falls head over heels for him. But what awaits is a dark and twisted secret as her love interest is not exactly as she had hoped for. Saveer who once believed in love, has suddenly lost all interest in it, while Prisha is a hopeless romantic. Their ideas of love are poles apart. Will Prisha be able to make Saveer restore his belief in love, or will their lives take another twist?"

Speaking about Roohaniyat, Arjun Bijlani said, "Shooting for this series has been an amazing experience. This show is all about finding answers to whether love forever exists. This is not your usual love story. It has twists and turns that no one expects. I can’t wait to see the audience reaction to the trailer."
