The Delhi DoE has extended the revised 2020-21 promotion policy for the students of class 9 and class 11.
The revised 2020-21 promotion policy has been extended for classes 9 and 11 in both government and private schools for the current academic session, considering the 'exceptional circumstances' because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The order issued by the Director of Education Himanshu Gupta states that keeping in mind the scheme of assessment issued by the CBSE, necessary changes have been made.
The order reads, "In view of the exceptional circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic, the revised promotion policy 2020-21 is extended for the academic session 2021-22 also."
All government, government aided, and recognised unaided or private schools have been directed by the department to follow the guidelines.
The order informed further that if any private school wishes to have a separate criteria, it can seek prior approval from the Director of Education before the publication of results.
According to the policy, students' grades in the mid-term test (term-1), yearly exam (term-2) and internal evaluation, project, practical, or all put together will be used to determine their promotion or upgradation to the next higher class.
For each of five main subjects, the passing score will be 33% i.e. a candidate with 33 marks and above out of 100 marks will pass.
The promotion policy states further, "A maximum of 15 grace marks will be awarded to a student to reach the minimum required 33 per cent of marks in one or any number of subjects only for promotion to the next higher class."

Samsung has been teasing its upcoming A-series devices since last week, without officially revealing their names. While speculation has largely pointed to the Galaxy A37 and A57, a lengthy video recently surfaced ahead of any official confirmation, revealing the key specs and pricing of the devices.

Students who appeared for the Bihar School Examination Board Class 12 exams can now access their results through multiple platforms, including the India Today Board Results page for smoother and quicker access. With heavy traffic expected on official websites, this alternative option ensures students can check their scores without delays or technical glitches.
