For those unaware, the company has targeted more affordable set of customers with the Redmi-branded products. It will be interesting to see how this works for smart TVs as Mi TVs are already priced quite aggressively in the country. Xiaomi has been promoting the upcoming TV series for its ‘XL Experience’, hinting that it will have large screen models. There were leaks suggesting that the upcoming product could be the Redmi Max TV which was recently launched in China. However, the teaser page suggests that the television is ‘Made in India’ which means it could be a different model altogether. An earlier leak had suggested last month that the Redmi TV can be launched in India two screen sizes - 55-inch and 65-inch. There is a chance that Xiaomi might add another variant to the line-up.
