Xiaomi launched three 5G Redmi smartphones in the global market at an event today, including the Redmi Note 11S, the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus, and the Redmi 10 5G. All three newly launched Redmi phones come with MediaTek 5G processors. The Redmi Note 11S and the Redmi 10 5G come packed with a 5000mAh battery, while the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus includes a slightly smaller battery capacity at 4500mAh battery with support for fast charging support.
In terms of pricing, the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus is the most expensive model, the Redmi 10 5G being the least expensive one. The Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus comes in three variants 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage at a price of $369, $399, and $499, respectively. Early buyers will be able to get discounts up to $40 on AliExpress between April 6 and 8.
The Redmi Note 11S also comes in three variants. The base model comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage at a price of $249. The other two variants with 4GB RAM + 128GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB come at $279 and $299, respectively. Lastly, the cheapest model, aka the Redmi 10 5G comes in two variants 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB storage at $199 and $229, respectively.
The same Chinese model of the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus has been launched in the global market. The Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus comes packed with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. It is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 920 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It is backed by a 4500mah battery with support for 120W HyperCharge tech, which the company claims charges the phone fully in just 15 minutes. The phone includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor coupled with an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
The Redmi Note 11S 5G is primarily a rebranded version of the Poco M4 Pro 5G. It brings a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Dimensity 810 SoC, a 50-megapixel triple rear camera system, a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W charging, and more. The phone comes in three colours -- Midnight Black, Twilight Blue and Star Blue.
Redmi 10 5G is quite similar to the Redmi Note 11E that launched earlier this month in China. The phone comes packed with MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G SoC, a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and FHD+ resolution. Other specifications include -- a 50-megapixel dual rear camera system, a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W charging.
