Xiaomi had launched the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition in China earlier this week. We are already hearing that it may introduce the phone in India but, under a different brand name. Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco have been sharing resources and often re-brand phones for different markets. We recently saw that with the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro, which were released in India as Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro, respectively. Interestingly, the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition is tipped to launch as the Poco F3 GT in the country. The possible launch was spotted in the MIUI code of the phone. It was spotted by Xiaomi leaker Kacper Skrzypek, who claimed that Redmi K40 Gaming Edition will be launched as the Poco F3 GT in India. The Redmi K40 Gaming Edition comes with the model number M2104K10C, where the C at the end denotes its release in the Chinese market. The code within MIUI 12 suggests M2104K10I, where the 'I' at the end denotes a release in the Indian market, will be called the POCO F3 GT.
