Realme GT Neo 2 launch set for September 22, Snapdragon 870, 120Hz AMOLED display expected
India Today
Realme GT Neo 2 is coming to China and there is no information about its India launch.
Realme has confirmed the launch date for the GT Neo 2 smartphone. The GT Neo 2 is coming on September 22 and it will be the company’s next Snapdragon 870-powered phone. The GT Neo 2 is a direct successor to the GT Neo that the company launched earlier this year in China, but elsewhere, the phone is called the Realme X7 Max. And if Realme chooses to launch the GT Neo 2 in markets outside of China, a name like Realme X8 seems unlikely because the company confirmed the GT-series is the new X-series. In a poster on Weibo, Realme confirmed that the GT Neo 2 launch event will take place at 2 pm local time on September 22. Now, Realme is giving away a few details about the upcoming phone. For example, it will be meant for “hardcore players”, but there is not much in terms of exact specifications. But for those things, we have rumours aplenty. Previous rumours have suggested that the GT Neo 2 will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor, which the recently-launched GT Master Explorer Edition also packs. The phone is also said to come with a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
Samsung has been teasing its upcoming A-series devices since last week, without officially revealing their names. While speculation has largely pointed to the Galaxy A37 and A57, a lengthy video recently surfaced ahead of any official confirmation, revealing the key specs and pricing of the devices.
