Rajasthan Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasra has sought an NIA probe into the pictures of Udaipur murder accused with the leaders of the BJP.

Rajasthan Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasra on Tuesday wrote a letter to the DG of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) demanding a probe into the pictures of Udaipur murder accused with the leaders of the BJP.

Govind Singh Dotasra has alleged that the accused in the Udaipur murder case were seen in pictures with leaders of the BJP. The Congress leader has also stated that as per reports, the terrorist nabbed in Jammu was the head of the BJP's IT cell.

On July 3, two armed Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists were captured in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district. One of the arrested terrorists, identified as Talib Hussain, had allegedly infiltrated the BJP and was even made in-charge of Jammu province's Minority Morcha's IT & Social Media cell.

On July 2, Congress had alleged that one of the main accused in the murder case of tailor Kanhaiya Lal is a “BJP member”. The opposition party had alleged one of the main accused in the murder case of tailor Kanhaiya Lal, Riyaz Attari, that was a “BJP member” and questioned the Centre on handing over the investigation to the NIA.

"It comes to the fore in the same disclosure that the main accused, Riyaz Attari, used to often attend the programmes of powerful BJP leader and former home minister of the state, Gulab Chand Kataria," Congress party’s media department head Pawan Khera had said.
