Police registered a case against BJP national spokesperson Nazia Elahi Khan on the charge of insulting religious sentiments at a recent rally in Sulebavi village in Belagavi district of Karnataka.
The first information report was registered following a complaint by Afsar Maktu Saab Jamadar of Pantabalekundri village.
The complainant alleged that she made provocative speeches at the Batenge to Katenge, Ek hai to safe hai rally organised by BJP leaders Dhananjay Jadhav and others on January 19.

The draft policy for “Responsible Digital Use Among Students”, released on Monday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, has recommended that parents set structured routines with clear screen-time rules and prioritise privacy, safety, and open conversation with children on digital well-being.
