Probe agency CBI raids Bengal college student in child pornography case

On Saturday, a delegation of four officials of the CBI reached the house of one Deep Biswas in East Burdwan district and questioned him and his father in connection with the case.

Deep, a third year Bachelor of Arts’ student, was asked to show his laptop and mobile phone to the officials.

The CBI also checked his Gmail, WhatsApp and various social media accounts. After the preliminary search, his laptop, hard disk and mobile phone were seized by the agency.

According to sources in the CBI, the agency has raided different parts of the country since Friday in connection with the child pornography case.

Following the raids, Deep said, “Neither have I ever made any porn videos nor uploaded them anywhere.”
