
Prince Philip leaves London hospital after heart surgery

Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, has been discharged from the hospital following a heart procedure. He was admitted to a London hospital on February 16.
Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth’s husband and the Duke of Edinburgh, left King Edward VII's Hospital in London on Tuesday, March 16. The 99-year-old was admitted to the hospital on February 16 because of an infection. He underwent surgery after two weeks, on March 3, for a pre-existing heart condition. For this, he was moved to St Bartholomew's Hospital. He then returned to King Edward VII's Hospital to recuperate and continue his treatment. Prince Philip stayed in the hospital for one month before leaving earlier today. According to reports, four police officers arrived on motorcycles to join a dozen officers at the entrance of the private hospital. Philip has now arrived back at Windsor Castle.
