The Ministry of Education has written a letter to central universities, asking them to postpone all the offline exams scheduled in May.
Due to the rise in Covid-19 cases across the country, the Ministry of Education has issued a letter to all the centrally-funded universities, asking them to postpone the offline examinations scheduled for the month of May this year, for the safety of the students. The ministry issued this order after several students raised their voices against the conducting of physical exams in the middle of the pandemic. The Education Ministry has further said that online exams can be conducted by universities. The ministry has further said that all institutions have to encourage eligible persons to go for vaccination and ensure that everyone follows COVID -19 appropriate behavior to remain safe. No dates for the conduction of offline exams have been announced yet.
