Poco is expected to launch its first smartwatch, the Poco Watch, later this year. Also, the company might launch the Poco Buds Pro TWS.
Poco is rumoured to launch its first smartwatch soon in India. The company has been planning to expand its product portfolio in India beyond smartphones. The pandemic’s force has led to a delay in the launch of Poco’s IoT products in India and other markets. One of the new products from the house of Poco that is expected to debut later this year is the Poco Watch.
The company has not confirmed the exact launch date of its first smartwatch. Meanwhile, a Digit report, citing tipster OnLeaks has revealed the specifications of the Poco Watch. The tipster has also revealed the design render images of the Poco Buds Pro, which could launch later this year as well.
Poco Watch Specifications
Poco Watch will look a lot similar to the Redmi Watch 2 Lite. However, the specifications will be different from the Redmi smartwatch. According to the report, the device will debut with a 1.6-inch AMOLED display with a slight curve around the edges. It will have a 360 x 320 pixel resolution. There will be a button on the right edge of the frame for navigating through the UI.
As expected, the Poco Watch will come with a bunch of health and fitness-related features. According to one of the design renders, the phone will have a colourful watch face with stats for total steps and other fitness aspects. The smartwatch will also come with an optical heart rate sensor and a blood oxygen (SpO2) sensor. It will also have a 5ATM rating for water resistance.
Poco will pack a 225 mAh battery in its smartwatch. The device will weigh about 31 grams and measure 39.1 x 34.4 x 9.98mm. According to OnLeaks, the Poco Watch will debut in Black, Blue, and Ivory colours.
