A CISF officer at Delhi's Terminal 3 tracked down a passenger who left his passport at security after arriving from the US, earning public thanks and highlighting the agency's commitment to service.
A passenger who accidentally left his passport behind at Delhi Airport had an anxious moment turn into one of relief after a CISF officer located him in the crowded terminal and returned the document.
The passenger, identified as Sudhir Khare, later shared the experience on X, recounting how he had almost lost hope of recovering the important document. According to him, the airport was crowded and he believed the passport might be gone for good.
The incident took place at Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport after Khare had landed in Delhi following a flight from the United States.
“Landed from USA at T3, Delhi, Mar 10 eve, left passport at security while rushing out,” Khare wrote in his post. He added that the situation felt nearly hopeless until a CISF officer managed to locate him among the many travellers at the airport.
“I lost all hope, when a CISF officer tracked me down in such a crowded airport, and gave passport,” he wrote, expressing gratitude to the security personnel.
Khare also thanked the Central Industrial Security Force for their prompt action, adding in his post, “A big thanks and salute to @CISFHqrs and @CISFAirport. You make us proud.”

When we look at Iran through the prism of religion and see a Shia Islamic country, we negate its thousands of years of rich pre-Islamic Persian culture. A dive into the world of Zoroastrianism and Vedas shows us how Indians and Iranians have been sharing languages, Gods, sciences and a sacred fire for thousands of years.
