Delhi man's thoughtful request to passengers before flying with toddler goes viral

Delhi man's thoughtful request to passengers before flying with toddler goes viral

A father travelling with his toddler addressed fellow passengers ahead of a flight, asking for patience and understanding if his child became unsettled.

A father’s thoughtful gesture during a flight has won hearts online after a video showed him politely addressing fellow passengers about travelling with his toddler.

The clip, shared on Instagram by Dr. Rohit Choudhary, captures the moment he stood up to speak to nearby travellers before the flight took off, asking them for patience in case his young child became restless during the journey.

In the video, the father can be seen standing in the aisle and calmly explaining the situation to people seated around him. He tells them that he is travelling with his toddler and that long flights can sometimes be challenging for young children.

“Excuse me, all the passengers in this area. We are travelling with our toddler, so she might get cranky during these five hours,” he says in the clip. He adds that although the child has travelled before and is usually comfortable during flights, there may still be moments when she becomes uneasy or starts crying.

The father then goes on to acknowledge that passengers who do not have children may find it difficult to understand why toddlers sometimes cry or get restless without any obvious reason. Because of this, he politely asks fellow travellers to be patient if such a situation arises.

“Please bear a bit. I am sure there are no kids around, so it is really difficult for those who don't have kids to understand that, without reason, she can get cranky,” he explains.
