Pakistani politician Aamir Liaquat has tied a knot with 18-year-old Syeda Dania Shah. Dania is his third wife and his junior by 31 years.
Member of Pakistan's national assembly Aamir Liaquat has married an 18-year-old girl. His new wife, Syeda Dania Shah, is his junior by 31 years.
Aamir Liaquat, a member of PM Imran Khan's PTI, announced his wedding on Instagram on Thursday. "Last night tie[d] a knot with, Syeda Dania Shah, 18, she is belong to an honourable Najeeb ut Tarfain “Sadaat” Family of Lodhran, South Punjab, saraiki lovely, charming, simple and darling. I would like to request all of my well wishers, please pray for us, I have just passed the dark tunnel, it was a wrong turn," he said on the social media said.
This is Aamir Liaquat's third marriage and it took place on the same day as his second wife announced their divorce.
The couple has been quite social about their relationship. Aamir Liaquat has been posting videos with his now wife on Instagram for a while now. Dania has also flooded her social media with images of the couple.
In an interview after the wedding, Aamir Liaquat's new bride said that she married her childhood idol. When the podcaster asked Dania when was the first time she felt she loved Liaquat, she said, "In childhood. I used to watch him on the TV. Whenever I used to cry, my parents would show me his images on the TV."
