Over 1,500 public representatives from 20 states to take part in AAP’s national meeting to combat BJP's alleged 'Operation Lotus'.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is all set to hold its first Rashtriya Janpratinidhi Sammelan on Sunday in Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium near Delhi Secretariat on Sunday. More than 1,500 public representatives from 20 states will take part in the event to formulate a strategy against BJP's alleged 'Operation Lotus'.

The conference will be attended by every single public representative that has been elected from the AAP across the country. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann will participate in the conference along with all MLAs and MPs from Delhi, Punjab and Goa.

AAP's councillors, zila panchayat members, chairpersons, mayors, clock pramukhs, sarpanchs and pradhans from across the country will also join in.

Arvind Kejriwal will hold a discussion with the representatives on strengthening the party in view of ‘Operation Lotus’ across the country.

The preparations for the Rashtriya Janpratinidhi Sammelan are going in full swing. The conference will see the presence of 62 MLAs from Delhi, 92 MLAs from Punjab and two MLAs from Goa. AAP's 10 Rajya Sabha MPs from Delhi and Punjab will also attend the conference.

AAP, in a statement, said that in the meeting, Operation Lotus being run by the BJP will be discussed in detail.

“Earlier, under Operation Lotus in Delhi, senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, was threatened by investigative agencies and even lured with the offer of the CM's seat. When they could not break him, an attempt was made to buy out several AAP MLAs by offering them Rs 20 crore each. Under Operation Lotus, every possible attempt was made so that the Aam Aadmi Party government could be brought down in Delhi," the party said.
