Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has announced that an online module has been developed to identify the data of out-of-school children.
Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal recently announced that the Department of School Education and Literacy has developed an online module to identify out-of-school children’s data notified by each state or union territory of the country. Child-wise information of the identified out of school children and STCs must be uploaded at block level under the Block Resource Coordinator. A quarterly progress report and a user manual are shared on the portal.https://t.co/9VbwXWdCV2 The data of all out-of-school children across the country is being complied with under the Right to Education Act. The out-of-school children will then be brought back to school under RTE, which is also being emphasized under the National Education Policy 2020. The Department of School Education will be compiling the data of out-of-school students across the country and map it with Special Training Centres on the PRABANDH portal, according to the tweet posted by Ramesh Pokhriyal today.
