As per the leaked renders, the OnePlus Ace will sport a fresh design, something we haven’t seen on any OnePlus device before. It is said to arrive as the OnePlus 10R in India.
OnePlus Ace is set to launch in China on April 20. Ahead of the official release, a lot has been revealed about the smartphone through leaks and rumours. The latest leak coming from the popular tipster Evan Blass reveals the complete design. Interestingly, the OnePlus Ace is expected to arrive as the OnePlus 10R in India. The Nord CE 2 Lite and 10R are set to launch in India on April 28 through an online event. The Nord buds is going to come along.
As per the leaked renders, the OnePlus Ace will sport a fresh design, something we haven’t seen on any OnePlus device before. It is indeed refreshing to see a brand taking a different route for the design, which is rare to find these days. The renders show an iPhone 13, with a boxy design with a square-shaped camera module on the rear panel.
The phone appears in two colour options blue and black with the OnePlus brand logo at the bottom of the panel. The camera module includes a large sensor in the middle coupled with two small sensors and an LED flash for improved night shots. The right side includes the power button. On the left, there’s the volume rocker. The bottom of the phone includes a single firing speaker and a USB Type-C port, but there’s no headphone jack. Overall, both blue and black gradient finish looks quite unique, something we haven’t really seen on any phones to date. The renders also show a punch-hole cutout, which is the first for the brand.
Rumours and leaks circulating on the internet have also revealed a lot about the OnePlus 10R already. The phone is tipped to come packed with a 6.7-inch full-HD+ E4 AMOLED hole-punch display with a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of cameras, the phone is tipped to include a triple camera setup, consisting of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor.
Under the hood, it is said to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone is also teased to come with the company's Hyperboost gaming engine, which is available on the high-end OnePlus 10 Pro as well. The device is expected to launch in two variants, one with 150W charging support and the second with 80W charging support in the box.
The OnePlus 10R, a rebranded OnePlus Ace, launching in India later this month is expected to come packed with a similar set of specifications. It is likely to be priced at around Rs 40,000. We will need to wait for the company to announce the final price during the launch.
