
Odisha couple takes oath on Indian constitution instead of pheras, urges guests to donate blood and not gifts

The couple, Bijay Kumar and Shruti Saxena, both work for a private company in Chennai. While Bijay is a resident of Berhampur in Odisha, Shruti’s family is from Uttar Pradesh.
Instead of making their marriage ceremony a lavish affair, a young couple solemnized their marriage by taking an oath on the Indian Constitution. The couple decided to get married this way instead of observing customary Hindu rituals.
The couple, Bijay Kumar (29) and Shruti Saxena (27) both work for a private company in Chennai. While Bijay is a resident of Berhampur in Odisha, Shruti’s family is from Uttar Pradesh.
