Not my birthday: Punjab CM Channi as wishes pour in

Clearing the confusion regarding the birthday wishes he had been receiving throughout the day, Punjab CM Channi stated that it was in fact not his birthday today.
Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi on Tuesday stated that he had been receiving birthday wishes all day today, on March 1. But in a mix up of some sort, it was in fact not his birthday today.
Taking to microblogging site Twitter to clear up the confusion, the Congress leader said that he was grateful for the wishes but it was not his birthday.
He wrote: "Grateful for all the wishes pouring in for me today, however today is not my birthday. Your blessings holds utmost importance in my life and motivates me to work harder. I wholeheartedly thank everyone for the love showered on me."

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had taken to Twitter to extend wishes to chief ministers of Bihar, Punjab and Tamil Nadu -- Nitish Kumar, Charanjit Singh Channi and M K Stalin, respectively, on their birthdays.
On his birthday, best wishes to Punjab CM Shri @CHARANJITCHANNI Ji. Praying for his good health and long life.
But as it turns out, it is not Channi's birthday today.
