Noida vlogger who went to Kedarnath with pet dog writes to PM Modi after social media threats

Noida vlogger Rohan Tyagi has written to PM Modi and CM of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami after getting threats on social media.

Do you remember the case of the Noida vlogger who took his pet husky to the Kedarnath shrine? Well, his story and video went viral but offended a lot of people. So much so that the Badri-Kedar Temple Committee took legal action and the CEO of the committee lodged an FIR against the vlogger, Rohan Tyagi. Now, in the latest development, Rohan has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, seeking intervention in the matter. So, the husky named Nawab Tyagi accompanied its owner Rohan for a trip to Kedarnath. A video of the same that spread on wildfire on the internet showed the dog touching the feet of Nandi present at the temple. The clip led to an FIR against Rohan Tyagi. Moreover, Himshi and Rohan, the owners, have been receiving threats on social media, according to their lawyer, Neha Rastogi. In a letter, the advocate wrote that no rules have been issued by the Kedarnath Badrinath Temple Administration for not carrying animals in the temple, so the police action against the couple is a violation of rights.

Neha also wrote that even after an FIR against the matter, the couple has been receiving threats and are victims of mental harassment. She also mentioned that the dog did not enter the main temple but was blessed by the priest outside in front of the Nandi statue. The priest did not object and even let the pet touch Nandi’s feet.

The couple, as per Neha Rastogi, didn’t intend to hurt anyone’s sentiments or any religious beliefs.
