The Karnataka government has not decided yet on the date of reopening of degree colleges in the state, said Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister C N Ashwath Narayan on Thursday. The dates will be decided after reviewing the Covid-19 situation in the state. In a statement, Narayan, who holds the higher education portfolio, said that the focus is to vaccinate students aged above 18 against Covid-19 before reopening the colleges to make sure that the student population of the state is safe.
