The makers of The Kerala Story 2 – Goes Beyond have issued a statement refuting claims that the film's teaser has been removed following court intervention.
The makers of The Kerala Story 2 – Goes Beyond have strongly denied reports claiming that the film’s teaser was removed following court intervention. Issuing an official clarification, the production house called the circulating reports “completely false, baseless, and misleading,” and urged people not to spread unverified information, while the matter remains sub judice.
The clarification comes amid ongoing legal proceedings, after the Kerala High Court sought to view the film ahead of its scheduled release. This development had triggered speculation about possible restrictions on the film and its promotional material.
In a detailed statement, the production banner emphasised that the matter is currently sub judice and that no court has passed any order directing the removal of any content.
“Sunshine Pictures would like to categorically clarify that the news currently circulating regarding the removal of The Kerala Story 2 – Goes Beyond teaser is completely false, baseless, and misleading. The matter is presently sub judice. No judgement or order has been passed by any court directing the removal of any content,” the statement read.
The production house further stressed that neither the teaser nor the trailer has been taken down.
Addressing the rumours directly, the makers said, “We have not deleted or taken down any material. Both the teaser and the trailer of The Kerala Story 2 – Goes Beyond continue to remain available across all our official platforms.”
