Nepali locals shame Indian tourists for spitting gutka on road, make them clean stains

A group of Nepali locals confronted Indian men for spitting gutka on the road and made them clean it up in a video that sparked a wider debate on civic sense.
A group of Nepali locals schooled a few Indian men for spitting gutka on the road, asking them to clean up their own mess in a video that’s now going viral online.
The video was shared by Nikhil Saini, who wrote, “These gutka pichkari lovers have caused the highest level of embarrassment for Indians across the globe. Video from Nepal shows a local forcing such gutka spitters to clean their own mess. If the government bans these pichkari spitting habits, half of India’s cleanliness problem would already be solved.”
In the clip, the man recording could be heard firmly calling out the group as he pointed towards the fresh red gutka stains on the road. “This isn't India, this is Nepal. Don't do this,” he said, making it clear that such behaviour won’t be tolerated.
As the confrontation continued, the Indian men appeared visibly embarrassed. They were seen apologising repeatedly and soon began cleaning the area themselves. One of them poured water from a bottle over the stained patch, attempting to wash it off the road while the others continued to say sorry.
The man recording doesn’t hold back, adding, “You are coming from such a big country, how can you do things like this?" which was a line that viewers said captured the larger issue of civic behaviour tied to national image.
