NEET PG exam 2022: The Union Health Ministry, in a recent order, has postponed the NEET-PG 2022 examinations by 6 to 8 weeks. Earlier, the exam was slated to be held on March 12, 2022.
"Keeping the current situation in view, the Union health ministry has taken the decision to postpone NEET PG 2022 by 6-8 weeks or more suitably," the order said.
As per the officials, the decision has been taken after witnessing the prevailing situations related to NEET PG examinations 2022. Also, it is clashing with the NEET PG 2021 counselling.
The Supreme Court was scheduled to hear a plea regarding the postponement of the examination on Friday. The plea was filed on January 25. As per reports, 6 MBBS students approached the apex court as many requirements, like mandatory internship etc, were not fulfilled by many candidates.
