Neena Gupta took to Instagram to pay her tribute to Kathak maestro Pandit Birju Maharaj who passed away earlier this month.
Neena Gupta, on Wednesday, took to Instagram to pay her tribute to Pandit Birju Maharaj. Her post comes almost 10 days after the Kathak maestro passed away. He died on January 17 in Delhi.
Calling Maharaj Ji her favourite, Neena Gupta shared a throwback picture and said that she will truly miss him. “My favourite Birju Maharaj Ji will miss you a lot. Never seen someone dancing so beautifully uff sachchi (sic),” she wrote in the caption.

Pandit Birju Maharaj passed away at his Delhi home. He was 83. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Ram Nath Kovind, actress Madhuri Dixit, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath remembered Maharaj ji in moving posts on social media post his demise.
