Nawazuddin has been nominated for Best Actor at the International Emmy Award for his outstanding performance in Netflix's Serious Men. The actor will compete with Christian Tappan (The Great Heist), David Tennant (Des) and Roy Nik (Normali) in the category. Nawazuddin also opened up about his personal experiences dealing with the caste system in India and how that helped him play his character in the film.
