Naga Chaitanya reveals if he will ever work with Samantha. Says 'that's gonna be a crazy one'

Naga Chaitanya revealed if he will ever share screen space with former wife Samantha. The duo announced their separation on October 2, 2021.

It was a shocking moment for all Samantha and Naga Chaitanya fans on October 2, 2021, when the duo dropped an announcement on social media, stating that they have parted ways. While no one knows the reason, both Samantha and Chaitanya have spoken about their spilt in interviews. Chaitanya, who will be next seen in Laal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan, shared if he will ever share work with his former wife.

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya parted ways after four years of marriage. This created waves on the Internet in October 2021. Recently, during an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Chaitanya revealed if he would ever work with Samantha. He said, “That's gonna be a crazy one if it happens. But I don't know, only the universe knows. Let's see.”

Samantha has been quite vocal about her thoughts on divorce, while Naga Chaitanya chose to stay mum over the issue. However, the actor has been talking about it in bits and pieces during Laal Singh Chaddha's promotions. Talking about the same, Chaitanya told The Times of India, “Unfortunately, it’s a part of this job where your personal space also becomes a narrative. That’s the baggage that this job carries. It’s my responsibility to be affected by it or not. Every celebrity needs to take that call, actually. It does become frustrating that my personal life makes for a bigger headline than my professional achievements. But I guess, I just need to keep working harder on my profession. The personal life bits will come and go.”

On October 2, 2021, both Samantha and Naga Chaitanya shared an official statement about their divorce. It can be read, “To all our well wishers, After much deliberation and thought, Chay and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well-wishers and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support (sic).”
